METECH held its first steering group meeting on 13.02.2026. With most of the partners and a representative from Business Finland in attendance, the kick-off of the project began with introductions from each partner. Afterwards organizational matters including the consortium agreement and the duties of the steering group were discussed. The contents of the work packages were also presented by the WP leaders.
The METECH project has completed its first news release. It presents a brief overview of the project, from its background to the goals. The news release also includes statements from the representatives of each research partner in the project. The news is available to be read at VTT’s website.
